StudioBuilt™ is a home developer that utilizes the modular homebuilding process and offsite construction to build quality, long-lasting homes. This innovative approach to home development enables our homes to be completed 50% faster than fully onsite construction and is more sustainable. The quality of modular homes can potentially exceed the quality of traditional site-built homes, since they are built and maintained in an indoor facility setting, meaning that none of the interior materials are exposed to any weather, increasing their durability and lasting longer.
StudioBuilt is founded by Amherst, a full-service real estate solutions platform, and builds upon Amherst’s existing scattered-site execution capabilities. StudioBuilt homes are constructed at a manufacturing studio in Cuero, Texas, building hundreds of new homes a year for rent and for sale.

Where We Operate
Our Cuero studio has a full-production capacity of 600+ modular homes each year – and more StudioBuilt facility openings are planned across Texas and the Sun Belt region. We currently have approximately 47,000 housing units in 32 U.S. markets across 19 states. Through Amherst’s infrastructure and vertically integrated platform, we can quickly and efficiently contribute to the U.S. housing supply shortage by delivering beautiful, single-family homes for lease to communities that need them most.
